How We’re Helping
Infection prevention and control is a vital component to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents and staff as well as ensuring essential healthcare services are provided. Chapin Home follows New York State Department of Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and implements updates to safety protocols on a regular basis.
Chapin Home for the Aging is open to visitors. Presently, in person visits do no need to be scheduled except for visits to the Mezzanine. If you have questions about visiting a friend or a loved one, please call us today.
We understand there are times when family members and friends are not able to visit loved ones at Chapin Home. To support family member interaction and encourage communication, we offer video chats on a limited basis. Video chats are a wonderful way to stay engaged with your loved one and catch up as you would in person.
Whether your loved one is receiving skilled nursing and rehabilitative care at Chapin Home for the short-term or resides with us long term, we aim to provide continual communication with family members. Visit our website for updates and information regarding Covid-19 as changes to guidelines occur.
