Jamaica, NY - Chapin Home for the Aging's Sesquicentennial celebration was incredible right from the start with harpist Pamela Bruce warming the room with her sweet melodies as the community gathered for the afternoon’s events. ![]() Tributes were offered for the Sesquicentennial celebration, Chapin Home and their Centennial elders received proclamations or certificates from the offices of: U.S. Rep. Grace Meng (D-Flushing) and NY State Sen. Leroy Comrie (D-St. Albans). Chapin Home also inducted 9 more people into their Century Club. The event ended with a delicious Anniversary/Birthday Cake and Jazz music with Hilary Gardner and her jazz guitarist.
