A Vision of the Future
When Chapin Home welcomed its first residents in 1869, Mrs. Hannah and Dr. Edwin Chapin had a bold vision for the future of their organization. Along with a small but dedicated team of 20, they strived to build an establishment where all were welcome, regardless of background. From the outset, Chapin Home for the Aging was driven to provide each resident with the excellent, dignified care they deserved.
Breaking Ground
Over 150 years later, Chapin Home has grown to a 220-bed skilled nursing facility. We also boast a 50-registrant adult day health care center with cutting-edge rehabilitation equipment. Our impressive range of facilities and expert team members mean we can cater to a range of unique needs, empowering seniors with the tools they need to live well. Though Chapin Home sits in a tranquil new location, the vision of our Manhattan founders remains at the forefront of everything we do.

Chapin Home’s administrator is an expert in senior care with years spent dedicated to improving the lives of aging seniors. Our administrator oversees every aspect of life at Chapin Home, ensuring care, amenities and facilities consistently remain at the exceptional standard we’re proud to uphold.
